I moved to a different suburb last year and I'm now further away from the Mont Albert store.  I still visit the store in person when I can, and it's lovely to be greeted by first name by the ladies in the Mont Albert store. "I collected some alterations one rainy weekday evening, and I arrived at the store before 6 p.m. (after I had finished work).  I realised it was on closing time, but the lady in the store was very patient as I tried on and then collected my items.  As I was leaving, another customer entered the store and it was past 6.00 p.m.  Your staff member greeted the other customer with a warm and friendly manner and did not say anything about the closing time.  I was impressed that customers are treated with such courtesy.  As I have mentioned before, I have not found this level of service in other 'leading' fashion stores.

"I hope you will pass on my thanks to Rosemary and her colleague for my shopping experience in Mont Albert this afternoon (19/10). I discovered your store quite by accident, after I had a coffee on Hamilton St.
and I was on my way to do some grocery shopping. I went into the store to browse and asked for any petite length black pants. I am around 5'2" and I have great difficulty finding pants that fit well and don't require alteration. I prefer to make in-store purchases if possible, but I have resorted to ordering clothes online in the past few years. I have been increasingly frustrated by city stores, including Country Road and Trenery.  I am willing to pay for extra tailoring if required, but I am disappointed that Country Road will not assist customers with an alteration service.  I have found this lack of service is quite common among many brand name stores.  I am usually told to take the clothes to my own tailor, and I don't think that is acceptable considering the average price point in these retailers. Rosemary graciously pulled out several styles for me to try, and I also received advice and assistance from her colleague.  While I was in the store, I found a number of dresses that I liked and I tried these on as well as pants in various styles and sizes.  I was pleased to learn that I can have pants altered in store by a local dressmaker.  I was not rushed in any way, and I was given plenty of time to make my purchasing decision.  I chose a few items to purchase today, and I will return to the store next weekend to try on two items that Rosemary ordered from the Ivanhoe store. My impulsive shopping experience was surprisingly pleasant and I wanted to write and express my thanks. If I have one request, I hope that you will bring in more items from the

"I was searching the net for a particular top. How exited I was to find it at Enni. I had bought one of a different colour last year however cut the label off and wasn’t sure of the size. After discussing this with Steph I said I was 95% sure however what would happen if the size was incorrect. Not a problem for Steph and the staff at Enni. Glad you enjoyed my international-ness ... i am in fact Australian, but have lived in the US for 27 years. From Sydney mostly, but also Hobart ... and ... Melbourne for 3 years. I'm not one of those city rivalry type of people, and I just loved Melbourne. Love Sydney too, but they both offer different things.

And oh, how I miss Aussie fashion ... there's no fashion here in the USA ... they are great fad followers, and they do host Fashion Week ... but that's about it! When I go to London, Europe or home to Oz, I have a feeding frenzy as if i'm fresh out of jail. My sisters are always wearing such cute things in their Facebook photos, and I just sit here ..... starving in an oasis, as they say. (To be fair, it doesn't help that I live in Pennsylvania and not in NYC or LA!)

Anyway, I was actually looking for Mela Purdie tunics, but am too late in the season to get the ones I've seen in my sizes, so resorted to looking at other labels you had on offer, and was exceptionally pleased. I will keep the web archive for your site on file, and look you up again some day! I'll also pass it on to anyone looking for anything exciting from Oz.
